Where Is Randy Travis Now? An Update on the Country Legend's Life and Health

New Music Through AI Innovation

In May 2024, Travis released “Where That Came From,” his first new recording in over a decade. This track was made possible through artificial intelligence, which recreated his vocals by analyzing past recordings. The song debuted at number 45 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, marking his first solo charting single since 2005.

Following this, in January 2025, he released “Horses in Heaven,” another AI-assisted track dedicated to victims of a tragic plane crash. These releases not only highlight technological advancements in music production but also Travis’s unwavering dedication to his craft.

The “More Life Tour” Continues

Despite the challenges posed by his 2013 stroke, Travis resumed touring with the “More Life Tour” in January 2025. While he doesn’t perform vocally, he appears on stage alongside his wife, Mary, interacting with fans. Vocalist James Dupré performs Travis’s classic hits, accompanied by his original touring band. The tour, covering 23 U.S. stops, celebrates Travis’s musical legacy and personal resilience.
